We offer Upward Flag Football for Kindergarten – 12th Grade and Cheerleading for Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Games are on Saturdays with practices being once a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. Practices and games last about an hour.
Registration opens May 1, 2026
Normal Registration: $200 from July 1st – August 22nd
Mandatory Evaluations are Thursday, August 20th & Saturday, August 22nd from 6-7:30 pm
Last Names A-L can arrive anytime from 6:00-6:40 pm
Last Names M-Z can arrive anytime from 6:45-7:15 pm
Practice Nights will be Mon, Tue & Thu starting the week of Sep 14th. (One night per week per team) Two additional practices on Saturday mornings (Sep 12th & 19th) during what will be game times, before the season really kicks off.
Saturday Gamedays start September 26th and run through November 14th
End of Season Celebration will take place November 14, 2026.

We would love for you to be much more than just a spectator this Football/Cheer season as we work together to make this the very best sports experience for your child. Please consider being a head coach, assistant coach, or referee.
All of our volunteer coaches and referees must do the following:
- Complete a background check
- Complete online Child Safety Training
- Complete a liability waiver (everyone)
When you volunteer, you will be sent links via email, for the Background Check and online Child Safety Training. These links will come from Verified First (Background Check) and Protect My Ministry (Child Safety Training). Thank you for your willingness to serve and for helping us ensure the safety of all participants in our Upward Program. We can’t do this without you!
Additionally, ANYONE participating in Upward Sports, even volunteers, must complete a liability form. Use the appropriate link below to access the form.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
We offer Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for kindergarten through 8th grade.
Upward Basketball games for kindergarten through 4th grade take place in the Fruit Cove Baptist Church ROC Gym. The games for 5th – 8th graders take place at Freedom Crossing. We offer coed Kindergarten teams, boys’ teams in 1st-8th grades, and girls’ teams in 1st-7th grades.
Early Bird Registration: $180 from August 1st – September 15th

The 360 Progression develops total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially – producing players who excel both on and off the field.
FCBC offers Basketball and Cheerleading in the winter as part of the Upward ministry and Flag-Football with Cheerleading in the Fall. Upward volunteers are our church members and members of our community who come from all walks of life and are involved by praying for the program, coaching a team, refereeing a game, or sharing a devotion.
