Three New MidWeek Groups Begin March 20!

Managing Money By The Book (The Bible), Robbie Robinson – ROC 305

  • Did you realize that 70% of our stress and anxiety can be attributed to money or has a connection to finances? What does God and the Bible say about money? A lot. Over 2300 verses talk about money. More than Hope, Love, and Prayer combined. Because of these reason, our attitude toward money and materialism keeps us from finding peace and the full blessings of God.

The Real Thing, Mike Spell – Church Office Fish Bowl

  • You wouldn’t invest much into buying a diamond unless you tested its authenticity first. Yet many churchgoers invest their lives and risk their eternity by assuming their salvation is genuine. The apostle Paul challenges us to…”Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves…”(2 Corinthians 13:5a, ESV)
  • How can you know for certain that you belong to Christ? The book of 1 John is “written…so that you may know that you have eternal life.” Springing off of the short Bible study “Is It Real? (booklet provided), pastor and author John MacArthur gives eleven biblical tests of genuine salvation, equipping you to answer the vital question “Is my salvation the real thing?”
  • We will find out what the Bible says about genuine faith and come away with great assurance AND a reliable way to help others avoid self-deception…that only God’s Word can offer.

Parentlife, Ginna Ashby – ROC 202

  • This class will be going through the Sissy Goff’s newest book, The Worry-Free Parent: Living in Confidence So Your Kids Can Too.

We will also cover the prophecies Daniel gave about the end times that are deeply practical for our day. In studying Daniel you will find your faith strengthened as you see the many ways that God has kept his promises and will continue to do so.

Yet, many of us carry burdens that weigh us down physically, mentally and spiritually, hindering the goodness that God intends for us to embrace and share. Over this 8-week program, guided by “The Wellness Revelation” workbook, we will move “step-by-step to the pace of grace, toward something greater than the number on the scale or the size of your jeans.” With the facilitation of a nationally certified personal trainer with 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, you will learn what it takes to become healthy, holy and whole–mind, body and soul!

This program runs 1/10-3/6. The curriculum includes a weekly exercise calendar, access to Fruit Cove Fitness, a Bible study, links to a variety of online exercise classes available 24/7, general nutrition guidance, and a daily accountability log.

Participants will be expected to complete reading and activity assignments between weekly meetings. Space is limited!

Towards the end of our time we will reconvene as larger group to recap key points from the table discussions.
