Revelation on Wednesday mornings 10:00 am (Ralph Curtin) Location: The Studio

This is a lecture-style class that covers the New Testament book of Revelation. It is presented as one of the great apocalyptic books, and together with the Old Testament book of Daniel, is the answer key to many prophetic mysteries throughout the ages.

Required Texts:

Revelation by John F. Walvoord

Any standard version of the Holy Bible that includes both Old and New Testaments

Stories Jesus Told – A study of the Parables of Jesus.- (Walter Mueller) Location: Worship Center
The Parables of Jesus are the world’s most influential stories. Even people who have never read the Bible know phrases like “a good Samaritan” or “a prodigal”. His parables aren’t just fascinating stories; they are life changing truths that challenge how we see God, His kingdom, and our lives.
Commands of Christ -(Lance Hemmer) Location: ROC 305

Together, we will explore a practical overview of Jesus’ teachings as direct commands for Christian living and discipleship.

This study emphasizes that Jesus’ commands are not merely religious rules, but a guide for transformed living. Following Jesus means more than simply believing in Him — it means actively obeying His instruction in our everyday lives. Through simple, actionable teachings, this study will encourage believers to grow spiritually, deepen their relationship with Christ, and become more effective disciples who make disciples.

Whether you are new in your faith or have walked with Christ for years, this will be a meaningful opportunity to grow together in understanding and obedience to His Word. We would love for you to join us!

Deep Discipleship- (Pastor RJ Voorhees) Location: Bldg A 106

This course will provide a deeper understanding of theology and the biblical narrative, all while personally developing a richer relationship with God . You will familiarize yourself with the story of the Bible, more fully understand basic Christian beliefs, follow time-tested spiritual formation practicesRegistration is encouraged.

This course is a continuation of the Spring session and is not open to new participants at this time. We look forward to offering future opportunities for new attendees to join at a later date.

identity in Christ, develop godly character, and learn
how to serve God with purpose and passion.

Women’s Bible Study- Behold A Study of the New Testament– (Lori Dunham and Ashley Oswald) Location: ROC 308

  • Help you grasp the major themes in each book of the New Testament.

  • Assist you in understanding the context of each book.

Women’s Bible Study- Seven: A Journey Through God’s Design – (Laurel Wiley) Location: ROC 310

Discover how these sevens reveal God’s design, character, and purpose. This MidWeek group will begin with Finding the Gospel in Creation.

Women’s Bible Study- Gideon: Your Weakness God’s Strength (Nicole Kalil) Location: ROC 304

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out under the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that—bigger than any one man and his mark on Israel’s history. Like everything else in the Bible, this is a story about God and His people. His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of their weakness—even through their weakness. And because God’s people includes you and me, Gideon’s story is also about us—our lives, our doubts, our struggles, and our possibilities as believers. From a state of fear, weakness, and insecurity, Gideon emerged as Israel’s hero, filled with God’s presence and His passion for deliverance.

This 7-session study by Priscilla Shirer will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength.

Unidas Por La Palabra United by the Word, Spanish Ladies Connect Group- Llenas de Verdad (Yari Rojas) Location: ROC 303

The United by the Word Connect Group meets on Wednesday Evenings.  This study is in Spanish only.

Acompaña a

Journey of the Soul: A Practical Guide to Emotional and Spiritual Growth (Doug Kowieski) Location: Cove Class room 3

The healthy Christian life is one of continuing spiritual, emotional, and relational growth. But so many of us feel stuck or stagnated at one stage of the journey. It’s not always clear to us where or why we are stuck, making it difficult to take the next step on our journey of the soul.

That’s where Bill and Kristi Gaultiere come in. After decades in private practice as counselors and therapists, they have developed a unique model for growing in grace. In
Journey of the Soul, they draw on more than 70,000 hours of providing therapy and spiritual direction to show you how to identify your current stage of faith and the next steps to take based on your unique needs and struggles.

Embrace Grace (Melissa Kowieski ) Location: ROC 309

This group provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support for single, young pregnant women who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy.

The primary goal of Embrace Grace ministry at Fruit Cove Baptist Church is to be a safe and nonjudgmental place for these young women to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt.

Embrace Grace offers a 12-week program that teaches them about God’s love and grace, and at the end we will give them a baby shower to honor them for choosing life and to help provide for their baby’s needs.
