In November of 2014, Fruit Cove Baptist Church overwhelmingly called Neil Muniz to serve as the Associate Pastor to SportsLife Ministries.

Pastor Neil has been serving the church in a variety of roles since 1997. From his first role as a youth leader and then youth intern at Wayside Baptist Church in Miami, Florida, to being ordained as a deacon and then set apart and ordained to the work of the Gospel ministry. Before the Lord moving him to FCBC he was serving as the Pastor of Sports & Recreation for Wayside Baptist Church and was in that role for ten years.

Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Studies from the Baptist College of Florida and an Associates in Christian Education from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also currently pursing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

His list of priorities in life can be broken down to his Faith, his Family and Football. The Lord has blessed him so far beyond what he deserved when He gave him his wife Kelly, and his children Zachary, Izaac, Abigail, and Anna Belle. They have served along his side in ministry since the very beginning. He loves to play all kinds of sports, but his favorite by far is football.
