Replanted Conference
Video Showing of Keynotes with Live Worship & Breakouts
On May 2-4, 2024, Fostering Hope will partner with The Cove to present the Replanted Conference. This is the first and only conference of this kind in this part of the country. Our hybrid model will offer recorded keynote speakers with live breakout sessions facilitated by local professionals in areas of trauma, parenting, transracial families, both local and international adoption, fostering teens, marriage, grief, and more. One in two families will typically quit fostering after the first year if they are not adequately supported. Our goal is to educate, encourage, and affirm the work that local families are doing for vulnerable children. By using primarily local breakout speakers this will offer a point of contact for additional support or resources if needed for attendees.
We are so excited to gather together as a community committed to caring for children through adoption and foster care. We know there can be many highs and lows in the journey. This is a safe space for you to come as you are. Our hope is that you find new and old friends here, that you leave feeling refreshed and encouraged in your journey, and that you ultimately feel lifted up by a community that is eager to love and support you.
In the book of Romans, the Apostle Paul writes that God is FOR us. But what does that actually mean, especially when our prayers go unanswered, our kids are struggling, or the outcome isn’t what we were hoping for? Over the course of this weekend, we will take a deep dive into these questions and also explore how we can be FOR everyone in the adoptive and foster care journey.
We have been praying over this time together. It is our hope that this weekend provides you with deep refreshment, connection, and a new understanding of how God is FOR you.
