Volunteers

Fostering Hope Ministry

We need you!

By volunteering, in any capacity, you are giving foster and adoptive families the support and motivation needed to allow them to continue serving children and families in need.

Fostering Hope uses a model of support called CompaCare. CompaCare is a compassionate care system that has proven successful in supporting families. A family advocate is assigned to each family to create a custom support plan that fulfills immediate and long-term needs to provide consistent, dependable care. Family advocates have a team of volunteers that operate at different levels, depending on how they would like to serve/interact with the family. Volunteer opportunities include providing meals, gift cards, babysitting, tutoring, mentoring, sending cards and letters of encouragement, praying, and so on.

If you prefer to participate in special projects or use your gifts/talents in other ways, we would be so grateful. Examples of those opportunities include participating in donation drives, sorting clothing and donations for the Diaper and Clothing Closet, volunteering at events, helping at a Filling the Freezer for Foster Families meal prep event, or providing childcare for Parent’s Night Out. Please indicate to us on the Volunteer Interest Form what area you would like to serve or if there is a specific way you can help, and we will reach out.

To join us, please complete the Volunteer Interest Form. Responses will help organize teams and be used for other volunteer opportunities. Thank you for serving to further the mission of caring for these special children and their families to show them the love of Christ.
