Hurricane Irma – Final update
Serving Others
Buckets of Help – THANK YOU Fruit Cove. You filled 90 buckets that have been distributed to those who experienced flooding across NE Florida. Over 1,800 buckets were collected by the Jacksonville Baptist Association. You were a great part of this tangible ministry that served hurting people. Thank you.

JBA is looking at continuing this ministry to be prepared for the inevitable next storm. We’ll look forward to helping that effort as well.

As we continue into hurricane season, we are adopting the following guidelines in regards to scheduling:

If St. Johns County is under:

Condition Scheduling Adjustments
Tropical Storm Watch
  • Schedule changes will be announced on as necessary
Tropical Storm Warning
  • Schedule changes can be expected
  • will carry the most current information
  • Office hours may be adjusted for the safety of our staff team
Hurricane Watch
  • All church activities are cancelled
  • Office will operate with reduced staff if it is safe to do so
Hurricane Warning
  • All church activities are cancelled
  • Office is closed

As always, if St. Johns County Schools are closed, our Weekday Preschool will be closed as well.

Because our facilities are not equipped or certified to serve safely as a shelter, we will not be open during the storm. We will work with Florida Baptist Disaster Relief to serve recovery and relief efforts as called upon. Information on shelters in our community can be found at
