Current Bible Studies

Bible Studies are offered on Monday and Tuesday mornings, Tuesday nights, Wednesday nights and Thursday morning. These studies are designed to give us a strong foundation in the Word of God and encourage a habit of consistent time in prayer which equips us for service and evangelism. Childcare is available during some of these times and you do not have to be a member of the church to attend these studies.

JESUS AND WOMEN
by Kristi McLelland

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”

Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.

Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.

Planting Hope is a monthly faith-based support group for mothers of children with special needs regardless of diagnosis. Together, we laugh, we cry, we share the struggles, joys, and victories of special needs motherhood, and ultimately, we find strength in Christ for our unexpected journeys.

OUR MEETINGS PROVIDE:

  • A warm, inviting atmosphere – Camaraderie and friendship
  • An opportunity to share if you’d like – Small-group discussion
  • Application of God’s Word to our lives – Prayer with and for one another

This group meets the first Tuesday of every month, all year. For more information regarding this ministry, please contact Barbara Campbell at barbara.inhisimage@gmail.com.

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE
by Laurel Wiley

The Gospel of Luke was written to a man named Theophilus which means “Lover of God”.  If you are a Lover of God, then this was also written to you.  In a day when more than ever we need to know how to give an account for the hope that is in us, come and spend time together as we walk with Jesus thru this amazingly detailed account of His life and ministry.  There is so much for us to learn about what it really means to have the favor of God on our lives. We need to see the depth of the purpose for which Jesus emptied Himself and came and walked in human flesh.  We need to see how he did right everything that Adam did wrong.  We need to see how Jesus really was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin!  We need to understand what the Kingdom of God is and why Jesus went to such great lengths to come and declare kingdom is at hand.

NEW class begins March 4, 2020!

A biblical based parenting program designed around the Titus 2;4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women. This curriculum is designed to take a close look at what God’s Word has to say about our mission as moms & wives and what that looks like for 21st century women. As we explore God’s Word together, we will gain godly mom-confidence in a confused world, learn to create contagious Christian community in a chaotic culture, and grow in our ability to build Christ-like character in our kids.
