Pastoral Transition Team 06162021

The church survey launched by the Pastoral transition Team went live two weeks ago. To date we have collected responses from 560 respondents. 90.36% of our respondents are church members and 9.64% of respondents are non-members. The running tally for those responding so far breaks out as 61.78% female and 35.34% male. 2.88% of respondents preferred not to give their gender and 144 skipped the question altogether. The two largest groups of people responding to the survey as represented by age comprise those who are between 50-59 years old (20.67% of all respondents) and 60-69 years old (24.52% of all respondents). Groups we would like to hear from that are currently underrepresented are the 16-19 age group (2.64% of all respondents), the 20-29 age group (5.77% of all respondents) and the 30-39 year age group (9.86% of all respondents). We are encouraging these younger demographic groups within the church to take the survey. If you need an older guy (for once) to show you how to access the Internet and take the survey I am happy to refer you to two of our oldest populations within the church – the 70-79 and the 80-89 years old demographics. To date they represent 18.51% of respondents – showing a lot of tech savvy!

Our goal has not changed as a church. We still want to collect surveys from at least 20% of registered and non-registered members or 850 respondents. We are 65.8% of the way to that goal and encourage everyone who has not taken the survey to do so. Please remember that the survey will only be open through June 27, 2021. That time is rapidly approaching! On June 27th at midnight the survey will be taken down to allow the PTT members to begin to tabulate the results. Help us reach that goal. Help us make this a huge success!

Please note – if you or someone you know is not tech savvy and wish to fill the survey out in hard copy format instead of online through the PTT website, you can get a hard copy to fill out by coming to the pavilion each Sunday in between services and after the 11 AM service. We will be happy to collect those responses from you as anonymously as the web page does. You may fill the survey out right then and there, take the survey with you and drop it off at the office later, or drop it in one of the drop boxes around campus. The PTT will be given these responses and will manually add in the information you recorded including your short answer responses.
