HOPE WEEKEND

A Special Time to Honor Foster and Adoptive Families

Starting November 1st-2nd, Fruit Cove is hosting Hope Weekend, a special time to honor families on the front lines of foster care and adoption. Caring for the orphan and vulnerable is a high priority at Fruit Cove.

Show your support and be a part of this special weekend! Our goal is for people in every age, stage, and season of life to discover how they can live out the biblical mandate to “care for the orphan and widow” (James 1:27).

Come and explore how you can stand with families who have opened their hearts, lives, and homes to vulnerable children through foster care and adoption. Everyone can do something!

HOPE 5K & FUN RUN

Join us on Saturday, November 1st, for the Fostering Hope 5K & Fun Run. Enjoy a live band to kick off the race, food, and prizes. The 5K starts at 8:00 AM, followed by the Fun Run at 9:00 AM.

STAND SUNDAY

On Sunday, November 2nd, Fruit Cove will observe Stand Sunday-a time to stand with foster and adoptive families and advocate for vulnerable children in our community and around the world. Stop by the Fostering Hope table in the pavilion to learn how you can get involved.

Everyone can do something on Stand Sunday!

Rooted in James 1:27 and reflected throughout all of Scripture, this special day will encourage our church to engage deeply in adoption, foster care, global orphan care and wrap-around family support — central to living as disciples of Christ. We will join churches in over 120 countries that have witnessed the transformative power of this day to catalyze action and celebrate all that God is doing in their communities on behalf of vulnerable children and families.

WON’T YOU STAND WITH US?

This will be a special time to love and support families in the trenches of foster care and adoption. There is a spiritual battle going on all around us and we’re sounding the call for all hands on deck! No matter your gifting, expertise, or passion, there is literally a role for everyone to take in this battle to support vulnerable children in our area.
