Community Interest

It is the goal and desire of Fruit Cove Baptist to not only become follower of Christ but to extend the hand of Christ to those in our community.

Al‑Anon is a mutual support group. Everyone at the meeting shares as an equal. No one is in a position to give advice or direction to anyone else. Everyone at the meeting has experienced a problem with someone else’s drinking.

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. For more information, please visit

All age groups benefit from our well-rounded SportsLife Ministry. Many needs can be met at our excellent facility, such as: stress reduction, social, competition, physical fitness, fun and leisure. The spacious gym and game room provide great places to play basketball, volleyball, pool, ping pong, and other games. Many enjoy walking and exercising in air-conditioned comfort. Softball, golf, picnics, and other events take place off-site. One of our key areas is Upward, a Christ-centered basketball or football league for Kindergarten-8th graders, and Upward Cheerleading for Kindergarten-6th graders. Connect with some new friends in our ROC Center… come try it out! For more information on SportsLife Ministry, contact our SportsLife Ministry Office at and either our SportsLife Pastor, Neil Muniz or our Ministry Assistant, Lisa Sheffield or our Ministry Intern, Jay Perkins will reply.
