Hurricane Irma

Serving Others

    • Buckets of Help – Many in our NE Florida region and across the state have experienced historical flooding. As they reenter their homes, they’ll be greeted with mud, muck, mold and mildew. Buckets of Help and Hope is an effort to remind them that they are loved and cared for.We are asking our church family to fill a 5-gallon bucket with cleaning supplies according to this “bucket list” (Crises Relief Bucket Material List). These are supplies that have proven useful to people as they begin the cleanup and recovery process. For approximately $85, you’ll provide much needed help and encouragement to a family that has lost much.Purchase a bucket, lid and the supplies listed and return them to Fruit Cove Baptist Church. We’ll get them to our Jacksonville Baptist Association, who will distribute them through Florida Baptist Disaster Relief to get them to the people who need them. For more information, take a moment and view this video.
